Polymer Clay Jewelry Care
* Do not wear polymer clay while applying perfume, deodorant or hairspray. Prolonged exposure to the alcohols in these products can degrade the plasticizers in the clay.
* Do not wear your jewelry when working with household cleaners or chemicals, as these can also degrade the clay plasticizers.
* Take care not to bend or drop polymer clay pieces.
* To clean polymer clay jewelry, wipe it off with a piece of soft fabric. Polymer clay is waterproof (it's plastic!) so gently cleaning with warm soapy water is best. To remove makeup marks on your polymer clay, simply dampen a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol and gently wipe piece, and then rinse with warm soapy water.
* Avoid using any solvents or commercial jewelry cleaning machines as they may damage the polymer clay.
* When not in use, store polymer clay jewelry in a box or a separate compartment. Sharp objects can scratch the clay surface.
